California Highway Patrol Teams Up with Sacramento International Auto Show for Kid's Sake
The KID ZONE at the Sacramento International Auto Show will be the largest ever this year, thanks to an ongoing partnership with the California Highway Patrol. In addition to featuring the Tyke Track, games activities and children’s movies, the CHP will be on-site with child ID equipment aimed at keeping children safe. Parents can get a free identification card with all the child's vital statistics that can save precious minutes if a child ever goes missing. Also in the Kid Zone will be Booster Seat information and instruction on how to properly install a child safety seat. "It is unfortunate how many responsible, caring parents improperly install a child safety seat in their vehicle. Learning how to correctly install these seats definitely save lives,” stated Liz Dutton with the California Highway Patrol. Parents can register to win a free child safety seat and a booster seat at the CHP display in the Kid Zone.
Also in the Kid Zone is a 42” wide screen television on display that adults 18 years and older may enter to win. The Kid Zone is located in the Auto Show Annex. |
